YURTS
Introducing a whole new way to experience Whistler and a whole new way to camp with Riverside's yurts. Perched on platforms nestled in the woods above Fitzsimmons Creek, our yurts are truly in the heart of nature, with fresh mountain air and majestic views of peaks and valley right at your door.
Our yurts are sturdy structures with rigid walls and roofs and solid floors, yet still have the feel of tenting and being a part of the natural environment. The yurts are insulated and heated to keep cozy in the cool alpine evenings, and have electricity and all the basic furnishings required to complete your stay - all you need is your sleeping bag! Fresh water is available nearby and the yurts are serviced by a complete comfort station with bathrooms, hot showers, and even heated floors.
Riverside's yurts are a truly unique product offering a great new way to experience camping.
Please note that our yurts are equipped with basic furnishings including beds and mattresses for up to five people; however, no linens, towels, pillows, or housekeeping services are provided, and absolutely no pets, cooking, or smoking is permitted inside the yurts.
What is included in the Yurts:
- Futon sofa which converts to a double or queen bed, with mattress covers
- Single over double bunk bed with mattresses and mattress covers
- Small dining table and chairs
- Electric fireplace and baseboard heating
- Electricity
- Lights
- Outdoor picnic table
- Venting skylight
- Locking door
What guests should bring:
- All bedding, sleeping bags, pillows, etc.
- Any cooking gear, stoves, eating utensils, coolers, etc. you intend to use (cooking permitted outside only).
- Basically all of the usual camping gear except for the tent!

- Maximum occupancy is 5 people, regardless of age.
- Rates are not dependant on the number of occupants.
- Pets are NOT permitted.
- Cooking is NOT permitted.
- Smoking is NOT permitted.
- Minimum age to rent is 25 years.
- Rates are based on 1 vehicle per yurt.
- Additional vehicles are $5 + tax/night, and must be parked a short distance from the yurts.
- Rates are in Canadian Funds and do not include applicable taxes.
